Michelle Garnett

Michelle joined Reed as a social worker consultant for a number of local authorities in the Liverpool and Merseyside area in 2015. Over the years, she has worked with different councils and clients, supplying a vast number of staff in both children’s and adult sectors. She has also worked with universities in the North West to find newly qualified social workers their first role.

Michelle started her current role as the Practice Lead in January 2022. This still involves working with social workers, but in a more consultative way. She and the Consultancy+ team provide specialist teams where local authorities need extra support to make a positive impact to the children, adults and families that use their services.

Michelle loves her role and is proud of the part she plays in the lives of those who require the support of social services, and finding people their dream jobs. She feels grateful to be part of an amazing team, and highly recommends Reed as an employer, especially when it involves working with qualified social workers!
