Philip started his career at universal bank, Barclays, and over the course of 14 years, progressed into branch management and later regional manager roles.
During his tenure at Barclays, Philip gained his initial experience in recruiting staff at all levels – he also coached internal staff on excelling in internal interviews and achieving success. In 2003, Philip transitioned into the recruitment sector, amassing more than 20 years of experience, 14 of which have been with Reed.
Throughout his career, Philip has worked with a diverse range of candidates, primarily within the finance and accountancy sectors, supporting them in their job searches and interview preparations.
In his current role, Philip also mentors his team to ensure they prepare their candidates for interviews well by conducting relevant research, understanding different interview types, and effectively addressing common interview questions.
