Katherine Maxwell, Partner – Employment, Moore Barlow

Katherine is a Partner and Head of Moore Barlow’s employment law team, advising clients on all aspects of employment law. Her clients range from large corporates to small companies, including professionals at senior executive, director and senior management level.

Katherine and her employment team are always on hand to advise on difficult situations involving individual employees, including drafting and negotiating termination packages. Should these cases proceed to tribunal, her clients know they have the backing of a strong legal team.

Victoria Furlong, Solicitor – Employment, Moore Barlow

Victoria is a solicitor at Moore Barlow, specialising in employment law. She advises employers and employees on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious areas of employment law, with a keen interest in discrimination cases.

For employees, she advises on contract terms, drafting grievances, negotiating exits, and supporting employees in bringing claims through the employment tribunal.

Victoria supports employers by drafting contracts, policies and handbooks, and can advise on grievance or disciplinary procedures, and responding to tribunal claims.

Cathal McCabe, Associate – Employment, Moore Barlow

Cathal is an experienced employment law associate solicitor who practices both contentious and non-contentious employment law work.

His clients span a range of industry sectors, and he assists them on everything from simple contract reviews through to large scale cases in the employment appeals tribunal.

Emma Kemp, Associate – Employment, Moore Barlow

Emma is an Associate in the employment team and qualified as a solicitor in 2014. She provides advice to both employers of all sizes and individuals on a wide range of employment law matters.

These include advising employers on managing HR issues, such as conduct and performance issues, within their workforce, redundancy procedures and exit packages as well as drafting contracts of employment and staff handbooks.

Emma advises and supports employees when they are experiencing issues at work and can support them with grievances, advice on constructive dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing claims, as well as negotiating an exit via a settlement agreement and pursuing an employment tribunal claim.
