A New Celebration for 2020

This year is the first time the list has been compiled by the National Apprenticeship Service, in partnership with High Fliers Research. According to the awards website The Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers “celebrates the country’s outstanding apprenticeship employers and will help potential apprentices, parents and careers advisers to easily identify apprenticeship opportunities with high performing employers.”

This new league table is a chance to showcase how apprenticeships have transformed businesses and changed lives. There are hundreds of employers of all sizes up and down the country who provide people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to learn new skills and have successful careers.

The Reed Apprenticeship Experience

Laura Poleykett was made redundant after 7 years of service at Thomas Cook in September 2019, as the business went in to liquidation. Laura then registered her details with her local Reed office to help her find new employment, only then to be offered a role at Reed itself…

After various conversations with Reed about what type of role would suit me best and what sort of company I would like to work at, my recruitment consultant suggested the option of joining the Reed Apprenticeship Scheme. Immediately I knew it was something I wanted to try my hand at.”
