What you need to join us…

  • 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or above (any subject)

  • Be commercially-minded and show an understanding of the recruitment industry/market

  • Show a desire for continual self-improvement

  • Be target-driven, resilient, and possess exceptional communication skills

  • Geographical flexibility – our positions are based in Holborn (central London) and Raynes Park (south west London) only

  • Be eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis


How do you apply?

Applying for our tech graduate programme is straightforward. Our streamlined approach is designed to save you time and effort, allowing you to focus on showcasing your skills and experiences. This is what you can expect:

1. Complete our application form

Tell us why you have chosen to apply for the scheme and why you would be a good fit for Reed

2. Take a psychometric test

Complete our general ability assessment

3. Telephone interview

Our early talent team will call to discuss your motivations, tell you more about the roles we have available and explain what life at Reed could look like for you

4. Find your placement

We will align your preferences with the positions we have available – our team strive to place you in the right position to ensure you reach your maximum potential

5. Director interview

A face-to-face or online discussion with one of our senior leaders. They will look for you to be enthusiastic about your potential future with Reed and have a good understanding of what’s expected from our grads

Your first year with us…

During your first year of the tech graduate scheme you’ll be given the option of non-developer and/or developer roles. This is subject to availability, however, you could find a role in one of the following areas:

Product design – our business analysts are given ownership of discrete parts of the Reed system – covering both existing and new requirements. Their role involves designing and mapping significant components of complex, business-critical systems

Project management – project consultants ensure business excellence, change management, and project success. Their role involves implementing, transitioning, and transforming a service offering to improve business performance

Digital workplace – Reed’s engagement consultants ensure business excellence, engagement, and change management. Their role includes supporting and guiding co-members to make the most of technology, adopting best practice and fully engaging with all applications

Technical development – at Reed, developers work across Java and our internal database in both front-end and back-end roles. This role is restricted to those with a technical degree or with coding experience

Loving the job? Stay on in your current position with increased seniority and responsibility. Entering year two of the tech graduate scheme gives you access to -sponsored professional qualifications that are relevant to your job such as Agile, Prince2 (Foundation and/or Practitioner level) and more!

Want to expand your horizons? We are in a period of technological growth and you’ll have the opportunity to work on some really exciting projects and developments within our business and learn first-hand from some of the best in the industry, so if you like you can try another role within one of our IT teams.

  • £29,000 basic salary (London-weighting included)

  • Access to a senior mentor after 6 months on the programme - a senior manager who will provide career direction as required - in your second year
