FAQs
Great question! We know that real issues don’t get solved by simply attending a training course, so we work with customers to understand their unique context, looking much more widely than ‘just’ the training we provide. We refer to ‘learning solutions’ because we feel it captures what we offer: tailored learning to help your team overcome real challenges.
Our courses generally fall into one of four categories: Professional qualifications, in-company training, apprenticeships and eLearning. If you’re looking for a specific course, have a look through our website or speak to a learning adviser who’ll be able to help you find what you need.
Some courses are online and can be completed by individuals on demand, while other courses – such as the qualifications we offer – are delivered by tutors/trainers. These live sessions can be taken virtually or in person, at your offices or at one of our many UK-wide locations. To discuss what is best for your organisation, arrange a call with a learning adviser.

Many of our courses are accredited, meaning that your employees can achieve a qualification while developing the skills they need for work. If accreditation is important to you, talk to us to find out more.

Live webinars are online ‘virtual’ classrooms which are led by an expert tutor and use a range of interactive tools to support engagement and candidate learning. Recorded webinars provide you with expert-led guidance through a particular topic or unit. We use the online platform Zoom to host our webinars.
We divide our sessions into easy to manage chunks with lots of breaks, questions and interactive quizzes to check learning. Learners also have time to work on individual questions and there’s lots of engagement with other participants via online break-out groups.
Although we encourage all learners to participate in our live webinars, we appreciate that life can sometimes get in the way. As a result, all our fast track webinars are recorded so learners can watch them at a later date.
We’re committed to protecting the privacy and security of our learners online. We selected the Zoom conferencing platform several years ago for our online training because of its security and resilience as well as the training features it supports. Both safety and security features have recently been enhanced by Zoom. We make sure our virtual classrooms are secure for our learners by:
Making webinars invitation only
Giving each webinar a meeting ID and password
Holding learners in a Waiting Room
Locking the classroom
We use Vimeo, a secure platform to store our video content and all videos are password protected. The VLE is a Moodle-based platform which is password protected on a secure network.
